The application process for the MEECO Designation™ has the purpose of identifying those organizations who represent best-in-class standards and execution in the use of one or more of these areas to positively impact business results and shareholder and stakeholder value:
- Executive Coaching
- Employment Sciences*
- Culture (organizational)
Definition Coaching is defined here as a one-on-one contractual relationship between a specifically trained and experienced coach and an employee. Its objective is the achievement of one or more development goals designed to help employees to expand their capability to perform the responsibilities of their current role, and prepare them to be better able to handle the challenges of their next and subsequent assignments. It includes facilitating the performance, learning, and development of another. The coach may be internal or external to the organization.
Employment Sciences and culture may or may not be the result of Executive Coaching.
However, standards, systems, policy, and procedure must support your program, and the program must be measurable with defined systems for sustainability
Criteria In assessing how your organization uses these areas effectively, the assigning of the MEECO Designation is based on providing compelling, evidence related to a set of five criteria:

- Maintaining and improving
- How do you plan to continue and grow the program
- 5. INCLUSION: 20%
- - Who is part of the program?
- How do you ensure representation?
Use these criteria as a guide to tell your compelling story on for your organization. . Please provide as much information as you feel is necessary to substantiate excellence that can is found throughout your organization.
Evaluation Committee A panel of five to ten independent evaluators will review the applications and determine those that will receive the two-year designation. Each evaluator has extensive experience in the fields of talent, human capital, coaching, employment sciences, OD, HR, and/or consulting, and has worked in, or currently works in, one or more prestigious institutions.
Time Period of Designation a. The Designation is for a term of two years. During the duration of the two-year classification, MEECO will continue to work with organizations who have received the designation to ensure strengthening and that the appointment will be re-awarded for the following two years. b. It is intended that the process of applying, and reapplying, will be a learning experience that helps uncover and make more evident the role coaching plays in achieving meaningful results that benefit your organization and may benefit the discipline of "employment sciences"™ at large.
Liaison Each applying organization is assigned a Liaison to coordinate their submission and assist in completing the application.
Suggested Donation The suggested donation fee of $1,395. for this category is due at the time of submission of this application.
